What is Belotero Balance® and what does it treat?
Belotero® is an FDA approved hyaluronic acid dermal filler designed to combat a gamut of aging symptoms such as fine lines, wrinkles, and lost facial volume. Our licensed providers use Belotero® to treat frown lines, lost volume in the cheeks, nasolabial folds, periorial lines, lips and lines around the lips, marionette lines, and lost volume and wrinkles of the hands.
How long do Belotero® results last?
In a clinical study 66% of patients reported a noticeable improvement for 9 months following Belotero® treatment, but follow-up treatments are commonly performed anywhere from 6-12 months after the initial treatment in order to maintain results.
Does Belotero® treatment hurt?
Belotero® is injected through a very fine needle, so treatment is tolerable. However, a topical anesthetic may be applied before treatment for added comfort.
How much downtime is needed with Belotero®?
No downtime is required with Belotero® dermal filling treatment. Some patients report some swelling or redness and occasionally bruising, which subsides shortly after treatment and can be hidden with makeup.
