Joseph Kerwin Williams, M.D.

Dr. Williams, a Mississippi native, is a graduate of the University of Mississippi School of Medicine. After completing his Plastic Surgery training at Emory University in Atlanta, GA, Dr. Williams underwent fellowship training in pediatric and craniofacial surgery at New York University. He is an active member of numerous societies including: the American Society of Plastic Surgery, American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association, and the American Society of Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Williams has contributed extensively to both medical journals and textbooks in the field of pediatric and craniofacial surgery. Dr. Joseph Williams currently holds a clinical appointment as Associate Professor at Emory University in the division of Plastic Surgery. He is Chief of Plastic Surgery at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite and Director of Research at the Center for Craniofacial Deformities. Dr. Williams has privileges at St. Joseph’s Hospital of Atlanta, Northside Hospital, and Egleston Children’s Hospital. Private operating rooms in the Northside Sandy Springs Outpatient Surgery Center at Atlanta Plastic Surgery are also available for cosmetic and reconstructive procedures.
