While liposuction is intended to reduce fat all over the body, CoolSculpting^® is intended for patients trying to treat small pockets of excess fat in certain areas like the flanks, and abdomen. Additionally, nonsurgical treatments do not require the extensive downtime and recovery that surgeries often do.

That’s a great question! Thankfully, there is no danger of frostbite associated with CoolSculpting^® fat reduction. Fat cells freeze at 4 degrees Celsius, (roughly 39 degrees Fahrenheit). This is higher than the freezing point of water or blood, meaning your other cells are perfectly safe from damage during CoolSculpting^®. Thanks for writing in. While Kybella^® nonsurgical fat reduction treatments can work wonders to treat your double chin, it unfortunately cannot help with your sagging neck. Kybella^® treatments target excess fat deposits underneath the chin, also known as “submental fat”.  It does not target either the sagging neck muscles or loose skin that may be causing your neck problem.
