Skin Resurfacing:  The Sciton^® Erbium laser is a highly-versatile skin resurfacing system that can be used to treat a multitude of cosmetic concerns.  Offering patients of all ages two adaptable laser resurfacing options in one system, the BroadBand Light^™ (BBL) and Erbium lasers, Sciton^® can be customized and designed to suit each patient’s unique skin type, condition and needs.  The BBL^™ laser treats all areas of the body to address surface concerns including acne, wrinkles, skin texture/tone and hyperpigmentation.  The Erbium laser exfoliates layers of damaged skin and can improve the appearance of acne scars and aging concerns like wrinkles and lip lines, leaving patients with a clearer complexion and radiant glow.  An additional added benefit is that both lasers also stimulate collagen production for a natural, youthful appearance with long-lasting results.

Hair Removal:  Instead of temporarily removing unwanted hair with over-the-counter systems, laser hair removal can provide patients with a 92% hair reduction and a razor-free lifestyle!  The key to successful hair removal is based on the type of laser used; many systems boast hair removal but not all provide safe and effective results.  At AYA, we use the GentleMAX^™ and Sciton^® BBL^™ lasers which combine light and electric pulses to impede future hair growth by destroying the hair follicle root – without damaging surrounding tissue/skin.  Safe for hair removal on just about anywhere on the body, including the face, legs, arms, back, underarms, chest and bikini area, a series of four to eight recommended treatments can be used on all skin types with no downtime.

Vein Removal: In addition to removing unwanted hair and resurfacing the skin, our Sciton^® BroadBand Light^™ (BBL) and eMax^™ with elōs^™ laser systems can also treat spider veins.  The BBL^™ laser directs heat energy that is safely absorbed in blood cells, causing the vein to breakdown, seal, and fade away.  The eMax^™ system uses selective laser and radiofrequency energy to destroy weakened veins while leaving the surrounding tissue intact, before they are safely absorbed into the immune system.  Laser vein removal can treat delicate veins on both the face and body with little to no side effects and minimal downtime.
