According to recent statistics collected by the American Society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery (ASAPS), non-surgical cosmetics have never been more popular. Their numbers indicate that well over 11 million non-surgical cosmetic treatments were performed in the US last year alone, a more than 7% increase from 2015

Cosmetic injectables are far and away the most popular of these treatments. Botox^® Cosmetic Injections remained at the top, accounting for almost 4,600,000 treatments last year alone. Facial fillers were the next most popular, accounting for nearly 2,500,000 treatments. And although they have a long way to go before being as in-demand as Botox^®, facial filler treatments increased by a whopping 17% last year, making them by far the fastest growing of all non-surgical cosmetic treatments. There are plenty of potential reasons for this recent dramatic uptick in non-surgical cosmetic treatments.
